Here's what happens to your message when you reach out through the contact form. Simple, short, and a full commitment to your privacy.
Who collects your data?
Data is collected by Violette Cruse Décoration. My full contact details are available in the legal notice.
What data and why?
When you fill in the contact form, I collect:
- Your name (required — so I can reply using your first name)
- Your email (required — so I can reply to you)
- Your phone number (optional — to call you if your request calls for it)
- Your message (required — the essential part)
This data is used solely to respond to your request. I never use it for commercial prospecting, and I never pass it on to third parties for marketing purposes.
Legal basis
The processing of your data is based on your consent (you fill in the form voluntarily) and on the legitimate interest of being able to respond to your request. No implied consent, no pre-ticked boxes.
Who can see your data?
Your messages reach me by email. The technical chain involves two providers:
- Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, France): handles the technical delivery of the form message to my mailbox. They do not store the content; they act solely as an SMTP relay.
- Hostinger (Hostinger International Ltd, Cyprus): hosts the professional mailbox where your messages are received.
No other person and no other company has access to your data.
How long do I keep your data?
Your messages are kept for three years from our last exchange, unless a legal obligation requires otherwise (for example, a quote turned into an assignment that requires longer accounting retention, up to 10 years for invoices). After that period, your data is deleted.
Your rights
Under the GDPR and the French Data Protection Act, you may at any time:
- Access your data and request a copy of it
- Request the rectification of inaccurate data
- Request erasure (the "right to be forgotten")
- Object to a processing operation
- Restrict processing
- Retrieve your data in a reusable format (portability)
To exercise these rights, write to contact@violettecrusedecoration.fr — I reply within 30 days maximum, in practice within 48 hours.
Cookies and trackers
This website places no third-party cookies and uses no audience measurement tool (no Google Analytics, no Plausible, no Matomo, no Facebook Pixel, nothing). The typefaces are hosted directly on the website's server, so no data is transmitted to Google or any other third party during your visit. That is why you do not see a cookie banner on this website — there would be nothing to accept or refuse.
Security
The website is served over HTTPS (TLS encryption), the contact form is protected against bots by a honeypot field, and access to the professional mailbox is protected by a strong password plus two-factor authentication.
Filing a complaint with the CNIL
If you believe your rights are not being respected, you may lodge a complaint with the French Data Protection Authority (CNIL), 3 Place de Fontenoy, 75007 Paris — cnil.fr.
